This is Ken Johnson. He was a Peace Corps volunteer before he was drafted. Ken knew alot about compassion and how to treat other human beings. A lot of our own troops hated us. We were called "Gook Lovers" and the such, but we didn't care. The more we got to know the Vietnamese, the more we cared about them. Afterall, we were invited into their country, as guest.
