Another goal of the S-5 Team was to organize Medcaps. Medcaps were teams of Medics, Doctors, Dentists, Dental Assistants and other medical professionals who would volunteer their time to deliver free care to the Vietnamese people. Most of the work was carried out in small rural hamlets.
